PermaLinkDomino 7 Performance Improvements
Mike Rhodin, VP of Development and Support for Lotus noted yesterday that that the initial scalability and performance goal of Domino 7 was a 30% improvement over 6.5. The goal was raised to 50% when it became obvious that engineers were going to quickly exceed 30%. Today, he announced that IBM has measured better than 80% scalability improvement across platforms, and 300% on Linux. And the improvement is not due to the new optional DB2 back-end. It's in NSF.
