I've worked out some things with the good folks at Advisor to make sure that each of our respective intersts in the code related to my recent article Develop IBM Lotus Domino Web Applications the AJAX Way. As of now, the JavaScript framework code, which is all derived from code published previously here is now posted (with some minor enhancements and needed fixes) in a page, still on my site. The actual demo database and the full JavaScript code -- which includes functions developed solely for the article, are now downloadable from the Advisor site, by Advisor subscribers only. The pages that I had previously made available here on this site now point to the Advisor site. I want to emphasize that the only reason those files were posted on my site had to do with logisitcs -- a certain Advisor edtior happened to be busy getting ready to get married at the time that I got my act together enough to put all the code into a postable form, so the fastest path to get the code to people who had been requesting it was to post here.

There is one thing left for me to do in order to make sure that readers here get full value from what I have posted. I need to write some drivers for my framework code that are independent of the application that I described in my article, and post those functions here along with a full explanation. I will do so as soon as I can shake loose a block of time.

Will there be a demo database for mere mortals? While I cherish Advisor magazine, its international edition is way overpriced (I know the logistics eats the money --- I would be happy with a PDF subscription).... News stand price is SDG 22 (about 12.5 USD).

I can't post the same demo database, but if in the process of developing some drivers for the framework routines I just happen to test them in the context of a simple Domino application... then I think a new test database will be posted
