Contrary to what he wrote, Hannover is not a "complete re-write of the Notes UI". That's an incorrect characterization, both from a technical point of view, and from a user experience point of view. Hannover is a significant change in both the technology and the user experience, but not a complete re-write.


Mike is Executive Director of the Eclipse Foundation, and he ought to be a little better informed. I'd tell him myself, but his blog only accepts comments from other Blogger users.

You're right, I should be better informed. On the other hand, you would be amazed how little the Eclipse Foundation knows about Hannover. Other than, of course, it looks wonderful!
