In a comment thread over at Ed's, I said "IBM should use the middle digit more often.". I was talking about release numbers. You know... Like "6.5.5". I.e., the upcoming release of Notes for Mac should be 7.1, not 7.0.2.


It never even occurred to me that some people might interpret "use the middle digit" to mean something else. Never.

OK, see, now this just show the uniqueness of a "geek" perspective as opposed to the rest of the world. Or, it just means that you and John Kerry have a lot in common. :)
